The 20/20 Youth Organization Partnered with North Charleston Rec for Girls BBall Clinic
August 13, 2020
40 of the Top High School Female basketball players in the Lower State gathered at the North Charleston Athletic Center on August 13, 2020 for a one day skills clinic conducted by The 20/20 Youth Organization. There were no spectators at the invite only event but the girls had great energy as they went through various skill development drills and competed at a high level during the 1 on 1's and 5 v 5's segments of the clinic. This was the organization's first athletic related event due to the cancellation of the 20/20 Youth Summer Basketball League. The highlight of the night was our founders Tre' McLean (President) and Travis Smith (Vice-President) joining forces with First Baptist graduate and current Anderson University Guard, Kai Rivers, and Charleston High Alum James Robinson to complete the volunteer staff for the camp. We aim to bridge together various generations of athletes to mentor and assist our youth and this 3-hour event was a great example!
